What is your delivery area?

We are located in Danville, CA and service most of the Tri-Valley area. We offer free delivery to locations in Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo and Walnut Creek.  Delivery to other areas in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties is available with a delivery fee.  Please see the Delivery Area page for additional information on our delivery area. If you don't live in Contra Costa or Alameda county, please give us a call and we can give you a quote.

 

What time and days do you deliver?

We deliver 7 days a week and you can call any time.  If we are working on a delivery, you may get our answering service.  Please leave a message about your celebration needs and we will return your call very quickly.

FOR STORK ANNOUNCEMENT RENTALS, we like to deliver the rental before mother and baby arrive from the hospital for a surprise.

FOR ANY CELEBRATION DISPLAY, we set up the during the night before and pickup after dark the day of the rental.

 

When do you deliver and pick up the Displays?

We usually deliver STORK ANNOUNCEMENTS the day before or the day of the mom & baby coming home from the hospital. We will pick up the display after the last day of the rental period.  FOR ANY CELEBRATION DISPLAY, we setup the display during the night before and pickup after dark the day of the rental.

 

What are the signs made of and how do they stand up?

STORK ANNOUNCEMENTS: Our storks stand 4-7 ft. tall. The storks are made from treated wood and look awesome.  The keepsake is made from Sintra and are professionally created using vinyl letters and ribbon.

FOR ANY CELEBRATION DISPLAYS: Standard Displays include a 4 ft. tall personalized message board.  Premium Displays include a large main display figure that stands from 4-7 ft. tall.  The individual critters stand about 2 ft. tall and are inserted into the ground with small stakes.

 

What if I want to move the sign?

Please do not attempt to move the sign(s). If you would like it moved to a different location in your yard, please call and we will be happy to assist you. A delivery fee may apply for each time that we have to come out and move the sign. If you have special instructions on where to place the display, please notify us when you are making the reservation.

 

Can I mow and water my lawn?

FOR STORK ANNOUNCEMENT RENTALS: If you must trim your yard during your rental period, please be careful around the sign. If at all possible, please let the trimming around the sign go until it has been removed. We do understand that this is not always feasible, especially for longer rentals, but we do sincerely appreciate you taking precautions to protect our sign. Watering is fine as our signs are sealed to protect them from water damage.

FOR CELEBRATION DISPLAYS: Watering is fine, but please do not try to mow around the display, or take it down for mowing. If you wish to have the display removed before the rental time is up, please call us and we will be happy to come and remove it for you.

 

What if the display becomes damaged?

Our signs have been successfully tested in wind and rain and have proven very durable. If however, you notice any damage as a result of severe weather, please notify us immediately.

Our signs are not designed to withstand climbing by children. PLEASE, for your child(ren)'s safety, DO NOT allow them to play on or near the sign.

If any vandalism or theft occurs, please contact us immediately.

 

Where do you leave the keepsake after removing the Stork?

When your STORK DISPLAY sign is removed, the personalized keepsake will be left hanging on your door in a plastic bag. We do not ring the doorbell or knock in case mom and baby are resting.  If you would like the keepsake left in a different location please inform us when you place your order.  No keepsake is included with the CELEBRATION DISPLAYS.

 

How long are the Display rentals for?

STORK DISPLAYS may be rented for 5 or 7 days.

CELEBRATION DISPLAYS are rented for 1 day.  Additional days are available for an additional fee.

 

How much do Stork or Celebration Displays cost?

STORK ANNOUNCEMENTS

$75 for 5 days

$85 for 7 days

 

CELEBRATION DISPLAYS

Typically $75-$99 for setup at night while the victim sleeps, and take-down after dark the next night.  Additional nights are available at $30 per night.

What happens to the display if it’s not picked up after my last day of the rental period?

We ask that you do not remove our signs. If we give you an extra day rental, then that is complimentary. However, we do ask that the signs are available at all times on the lawn as we placed them originally for convenient pick-up times for our company.

 

What does the price include?

STORK ANNOUNCEMENT:  Rental prices include delivery, setup and take-down, and also include a complimentary card for the recipient from the gift giver and the personalized keepsake.

CELEBRATION DISPLAY:  Rental prices include delivery and setup of the Display at night while the victim sleeps, and take-down of the display after dark the next night.

 

Do I need a reservation and how soon could you deliver?

Please call us as soon as possible to reserve a stork.  We can have it setup and delivered within 24 to 48 hours, if a sign is available.  Due to the fickle nature of the arrival of babies, we never know how many storks will be available at any given time.  However, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.  If you purchase a Baby Shower/Newborn package, you will receive first priority on the newborn stork.  If a stork is unavailable for the birth, the full value of the newborn display will be refunded.

 

For CELEBRATION DISPLAYS, we can reserve a display on a first come first served basis. For last minute orders, we can usually deliver within 24 to 48 hours if the display is available.

 

What methods of payment do you accept?

We will send you an electronic invoice for you to pay.  Credit Card payments are paid through Paypal.  However, you don’t need a Paypal account in order to make your payment.  You can also pay by check if the delivery date is more than 2 weeks away.  We Do Require Payment by Day of Delivery.

 

Do I send payment now or after the display is delivered?

We like to receive payment upon your order.   After confirming your reservation, an electronic invoice will be sent to you for you to pay from.

 

How can I pay you if I didn't reserve a sign?

We request last minute orders be secured with a credit card paid through our payment system.


What is your REFUND POLICY?

All lawn rentals must be paid in advance with Cash, Check, PayPal or Credit Card.

 

You WILL receive a full refund if the following applies:

· You cancel your lawn rental at least 24 hours in advance.

 

You will NOT receive a refund if the following applies:

· The homeowner stops us from setting up the display.

· The homeowner calls us and asks us to remove the display.

· You give us less than 24 hours notice to cancel your order.

· You have given us the wrong address or date.

· We cannot set up the display because of a gated community/security guard that will not allow us access.

· A dog or other animal is loose that poses a threat.

· A lack of grassy/gravel area to stake in the sign.

· Or any other reason we cannot set up the display that is beyond our control.

· For those surprise displays, please let someone in the household know that we will be on the property at that time if at all possible.

 

Note: You will be held liable for any sign damage or lawn display disappearance during the scheduled rental time.
